In my opinion the LAER is the best due to its high damage and rapid fire shooting.

For me, it's been the standard laser rifle with full mod kit.

Light weight, low ammo use, decent damage, and excellent for sniping.

The other long range weapons tend to burn ammo too fast for my liking

Sprtel-Wood 9700. It looks badass, shoots badass, feels badass, smells badass.

And it's power level is OVER 9000!

Multiplas rifle with the WMX mods. Earliest 100+ base damage per shot weapon you're likely to get.

The dual cell harness is a bit clunky looking, so I just stick with the magnetic constrictor for tighter grouping and the upgraded discharge initiator to crank out more plasma.

Max charge that [censored] and you're a walking apocalypse.

Laser RCW

Plasma caster. Nothing like walking around with a rapid-firing plasma cannon.

The energy weapon I use the most is the LAER with mods and max charge cells. The rapid weapon degrading isn't a problem, since I always have plenty of WRKs.

However my favorite energy weapon is Pew-Pew. I suppose because it was fun to get as a quest reward, and seemed to do lots of damage even with my low energy weapons %.
