Although I'm glad they are on numerous lists, I'm sad to see they aren't on more prominent lists such as Machinima, IGN, Gamespot, PC gamer, PlayStation magazine or Xbox magazine.

ESO will show them! THEY WILL ALL SEE!!

:D

Honestly, I'd rather them not be on those lists.

The more hype people get about a game the more expectations they begin to have. They read about a feature and design it in their heads. When they go and play it at launch that feature isn't anything like they had expected and it will make the game seem less of a game to them.

Games will never live up to the expectations of others, so the less hype it gets on those lists the better imo.

There's a reason why it's not higher on those sites and it's a shame that I have to say that. I would keep the expectations low, that way you won't feel like you got kicked down low because ESO was bad.

Honestly? I'm not surprised. I have yet to see something that was more than just a mash up of:

WoW

DAOC/Warhammer

Rift

Terra

Guild Wars 2

TES (sort of?)

Show me what makes TESO unique! a True Elder Scrolls game and also a true online multiplayer game!

Nothing is truly unique. Everything has been done before. All that makes something unique these days is the combination of features. ESO has a unique combination of features.
