Greetings mortals

Well playing through a game of Skyrim, I find the most to dungeon and cave dive. However, playing my Orc hand to hand is much different from my pure destruction mage.

One of them is the brutal kill cams, which I think add a flavor to the combat, making it more gritty and more fun.

This is not a complaint may I console your worried minds joore, this is more of a wishlist for the future game. As I am aware they will not be making any more updates for Skyrim.

Though in this day and age, my favorite Western animated show is Avatar the Last Airbender and even The Legend of Korra. With the way the bending, which is a form of magic, the smooth flow and the way they channel their powers. It would be nice if there was some inspiration here.

It's not particularly interesting to watch my kill cam be a stream of fire, roasty toasty toasting some bad guys. In comparison to my Orc who's pounding a man's head in with his fist and then smacking him into the cement.

Though don't get me wrong. I am enjoying the game as is.

Half agree. ATLA and LOK are fantastic (my unsurpassed favorite) works of art, but bending is not AT ALL a form of magic, and should not be compared as such.

However on topic, magic kill cams are DASTARDLY annoying. Half the time it happens its actually not even the finishing blow and the enemy hangs on. Or i miss. And its caused my death more times than i would like. Actual animations for close quarter and long ranged kills, like zapping someone to the floor execution style would be cool. actual movement/interactions like with weapons, instead of just sitting there casting the spell.

I do however understand your reference to bending, as Ive suggested a similar idea. "Physical" magic, if you will. Palm strikes, energy barriers, imbuing your fists with elemental damage...but no martial arts. Thats crossing the line.

Magic may not be gritty, but you can always summon http://i.imgur.com/mkl2DJG.jpg to do the gritty for you. Kendov ahrk lahzey ro. If you so desire blood on your hands, you can always practice both the gritty and the majestic methods of mortal disposal. A true fighter worth his title sticks not to one form of battle, but to all manner of warfare.

I don't do magic but surprised they don't have kill cams, what a jip. I'd have expected stuff like Raiden's Fatalities from mortal kombat.

They do. It's just that they aren't particularly interesting. Slow-mo and outstretched hands.
