i found this old title to Xbox

i allways had a pc ...but 2day i do own a xbox360

so i try to set taht old title in a xbox360 ...it just say it need a update

but i can see on the net it has never been fixed so i Wonder if a old Xbox update should be released to 360consol so it will Work on that system it use to be a interplay game same as fallout 1 - 2 but why and WHO OWN THE RIGHTS and patch ?...
