Launcher - Please read

Ok so when I download the launcher it all goes fine until I try to open it. When I try to open the launcher nothing happens, if I click it again i get the message 'Banana Bread Only a single instance of this application can run'. I can see that it is running in task manager under 'Background processes' but I cant get it to pop up.

The first time I downloaded it it ran fine and began patching but I had to restart my computer to update to Windows 8.1, ever since then its been messing up.

Any solutions would be great. Thanks in advance!

Edit: I have tried uninstalling and also uninstalling and deleted the Zenimax folder with program files x86.

  • The Elder Scrolls Online beta test is under NDA (non-disclosure agreement); you shouldn’t be discussing details of the test in public places such as these forums, social media, streaming video, et cetera. If you’ve gotten in it’s OK to let people know that, but you can’t say anything else about the test.
  • We have a private forum for the ESO Beta; the account information you need to log-in was sent in a separate e-mail from your beta invite.
  • If you are having trouble, or otherwise need help; you can check for solutions on our http://help.elderscrollsonline.com/, the help section of the ESO beta forums, by submitting a http://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app/ask, or calling customer support (details can be found in your invite). It’s very difficult for us to help if you ask here or on our social media channels, and chances are any such requests would break NDA.
  • If people post other threads about beta, or break the NDA; please let them know of their error politely and direct them to this thread. If content needs to be removed you should report it with the button found under every post.

This thread can be used to discuss publicly available information about the beta. Participants of beta can’t really say anything, but we do want to leave this open for everyone else rather than locking it as an FAQ.
