Daeo found himself wondering past Whiterun to a cave, called Whiterun Watch or something along those lines. He could the dude in front and then he came upon a curious old man.

The old man was blind and Daeo would have killed him to end his misery, till he saw the man had a dream to write a book. A book that is completely empty and has no words in it.

He found it humorous and will allow the blind mind to rot in the cave, to complete a book, while his nephew is dead and all the other bandits are gone.

I think I'm going to kill him then raise him as a zombie ally, but to each his/her own

Well Daoe spared him due to the humor of it all.

Do you think he ever would have finished the book?

I think I've been to this place before. Is there an overlook with a bandit leader, and a note to tell people to stop screwing with the blind guy?

Yes.

Probably my least favourite cave in Skyrim, mainly because I've done it so many bloody times and it's not particularly interesting. There's usually some good loot in the boss chest mind you.

The blind man always somehow manages to directly find me, and only focus his attack on me, instead of me and his allies.

"Who's that? Rodulf, is it you?"

Woman: "Yeah."

"Boss was looking for you, said he'd be up at the summit. Better not keep him waiting."
