If they really are going to port Skyrim to next-gen, then I have only one expectation. It would be extremely inexcusable not to give us PC players 64-bit executable which Skyrim really needs. If they bothered with the former, then they should do the latter as well.

In short the game will run as it run on an decent pc.

If it's ported to the new consoles maybe they'll also make it 64-bit proper and take it past the 3.1gb limit, and then update the PC version to boot so modders don't have to worry about it. But maybe I'm being way too optimistic here.

If Skyrim is going to the new gen consoles then I think us last gen users might get a minor patch, but I mostly think it's going to be a Fallout 4 announcement.
