Oghma Infinium leather-binding

The Elder Scrolls Wiki states that http://static2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20131212014730/elderscrolls/images/d/da/Skyrim_oghma_infinium.png "...is made from the skin of the different Elf races: green for Orsimer, tan for Bosmer, dark/cloudy for Falmer, yellow for Altmer and darkest gray for Dunmer. Upon closer inspection, there are in fact six pieces (the tiny dark scrap on the upper left, above the yellow Altmer hide, presumably the skin of a Dwemer)."

Is there any basis, via text or dialogue which supports this claim? I'm specifically curious about the Dwemer skin, but I'd like to see any text which talks about the skin on the cover. http://images.uesp.net/1/16/OB-item-Oghma_Infinium.jpg of the tome looks like it might include some furry beast race hide. And maybe even some Argonian scales. I would like to know if there is any text regarding what the Oghma Infinium is bound with. The colors all seem a little off from the Wiki's interpretation, though I'll grant that they're from dead elves.

I'm looking for quotes rather than speculation, please. I just did the Hermaeus Mora quest in Skyrim and didn't hear any mention of skins. Though obviously there is the gathering of bloods to make the mysterious mixture for the Dwemer blood facsimile. I don't recall any quote from Oblivion either.

Thanks!

There aren't any quotes. Nothing on the UESP or the Imperial Library. The wiki speculation doesn't make sense anyways, since it doesn't take into account other existing Elves such as the Maomer or the Ayleids.

Baseless speculation based on the quest and the cover's similar colors to some mer skin tones.

I thought it may have been bogus. But I was hoping, since I was curious if there was tangible evidence for the color of dwemer skin beyond Yagrum's pale, diseased, blood-drained flesh which is hardly representative since we know that the ashy dunmer turn yellow from the effects of corprus. But he's the closest we've got. :P

You know now that you said it , is there any proof that corprus stalkers are dunmer? I mean I always assumed that stalkers were either imperial , or other human race, and the fact that we didn;t seen any other race as stalkers was because of gameplay.
