A silly thought experiment

Imagine you could ask any one person in the world any one question. That person would have to answer that question with absolute honesty. Not just in the letter, but the spirit. Nothing ambiguous, no confusing speech or cherry picking, just a real actual answer.

Who would you ask, and what would the question be? Keep in mind that you must accept the answer, even if that answer ends up being "I do not know."

Ive been trying to think of my question for a few years now. I still can't decide.

I would ask...

...Jack Bauer, our favorite forum poster...

...what defines a good game in his eyes?

I'd ask that kid at McDonald's who got fired for spitting in burgers and drinks a few years ago in Anchorage whether he spit in my iced coffee the four or five times a week I would go there. I usually was polite or indifferent towards him.

Does this person have to exist on our plane of existence, or can it be any fictional character as well?

Nevermind. I'd ask Jerry Seinfeld "What is the deal with that?".

I would ask Joan of Arc if she actually heard voices or used it as a gimmick to boost morale.

I would ask my sister, "Did you eat my candy?"

I would ask Confucius, "Is it always darkest before the dawn?"
