Exploration - not feeling the love

Though the overall gameplay experienced is similar to other MMORPGs I've played, I'm not feeling the same awe and wonderment that I did with Oblivion and Skyrim. Random exploration would almost always result in something new to be found, instead, I feel lime I'm being driven by highly linear quest storylines, mobs have very poor loot and lockpicking is incredibly difficult for me to master; almost to the point where it's not worth even trying.

Though I haven't made it up to level 10 in any of the beta tests I've participated in, I have enjoyed them, but I'm feeling much more MMO than RPG; so in short, I'm not sold on this yet. Firing up Skyrim Legendary Edition is a much better fit at this time. Crossing my fingers that the solo exploration, make the world my own potential increases as much as I'd like to see.
