having a problem with stairs

Post » Wed Apr 28, 2010 5:04 am

I desided I want to expand La Maison Beauregard in george town, so I'm adding an stair well to lobby to act as a hub between the floors I want to add but I have a problem http://img535.imageshack.us/i/worknp.jpg/ as you can see here I can't find a stair "piece" that allows me to build this type of stair well. Does any one have any advice?

Perhaps using what oyu have, then filling in the blank spots in the walls with something like NeoRmWallOnly or one of the variations of that might work.

that would work for the wall, but the problem is the stairs them selves. There are two types of stairs for the neoclassic set, one is built into the wall other has a large base that would block the stair below it if I were to use it.

Then all I can recommend is instead of making all the stairs on one side (the far side in the picture) make it alternate what side the stairs are on. And also what side those rooms (the teleport markers) are on.

So have the stairs/rooms:

Far/Right
Near/Left
Far/Right
Near/Left

That should fit together nicely and not look to shabby. While remaining a rather large open shaft staircase tower thing. Either that, or make it closed off, and a hallway instead. I haven't checked if there are hallway stairs though and I fear there arent any. If not, try my first idea.
