What do you look for in a Fansite?

Hey,

I've been working on a TESO fansite for a little while, getting the proper systems in place and I'm now just starting to put content on it.

I'm curious as to what you the fans look for in a fansite?

I'm sure I have the obvious stuff checked off the list, but I just want to be sure, so I'm asking here.

What I have planned and working on is:

Up to date news and info about TESO

A database for items/races/classes/spells/etc

A simple guild page system, that allows user to make a small guild page, and have a private forum for members to communicate.

A forum

System for users to view game guides, and create their own.

Again, I'm curious if I'm missing anything that would draw people to a fansite. Perhaps most importantly, what would make you stay, and keep coming back?

Thanks,

Chris.

Well a well fleshed out lore wiki, game wiki and a good forum community with allot of interesting discussions regarding the game. A video pod cast perhaps too would be a nice feature.

One of the best fan sites I have seen for any online game is this one http://www.planetside-universe.com/

Thanks for the replies.

I was going to attempt a lore wiki, but as I started I felt I was just pretty much copy & pasting what I read elsewhere and didn't feel too comfortable. So I'm just working on pages for the playable races, maybe some of the more prominent npc races. The wiki/database will be open, so specific member groups can add their own pages and edit others.

Again, thanks for the replies. Giving me food for thought, and I like getting links to other fansites. Good inspiration from them.
