I was reading up been a while.. There will be a cash shop as well as a sub? So well buy more stuff plus the subscription where is the sense in this? If its good Ill pay a sub but to have a cash shop too seems damn greedy

The cash shop I beleive was confirmed to be cosmetic and account stuff only.

Name changes and purely cosmetic outfits.

The cash shop will sell cosmetic things, and services such as name changes etc, nothing that will give you an advantage in game, it's not pay to win.

But if im paying a Sub I should get everything the game offers period. Not spend extra to be cooler.

It's entirely optional, you can craft cosmetics too, so you're getting that in the sub fee too.

But none of the things are required, they give you no advantages.

If people want to spend money to be 'cooler', I say let them.

Related question: how about respec that is reseting all the selected perks, I imagine many will make a mess out of the perks as they advance and end up with an gimped character. it this possible in the game?

You can respec your skill and attribute points, for a gold cost.

I hope not! Pets for Cash that can be sold ingame for ingame currency are not tolerable (for me) when there is a subscription model.

No, ha, here's my take though:
These two forms of payment exist for 2 different reasons. Subs help limit the number of accounts in game to serious players. They also generate attractive looking revenue streams for investors, and goodness knows games like this need those. Lastly, I have no problem paying for something every month if I'm still using it every month. People who balk at subs usually disregard that everything else in life works this way, from car insurance to gym memberships.

Secondly though, the cash shop probably won't have any items in it that you can't also get in game somehow. But if somebody really wants a thing and doesn't feel like belaboring the hours of grinding to get it, they can just buy one. As long as it's cosmetic, I don't think it matters. I often do buy skins, emotes, fireworks etc from cash shops, so I personally can speak to agreeing with this decision. It's nice to have the option.

They are trying all payment models up front - and will whittle it down from there.

Right know there is only stuff like Name change etc, no pets and mounts but they said pets and mounts could come, but hopefully not.
