Is it just me (or how Raven got so jaded)?

Post » Thu Jan 16, 2014 11:26 pm

Does it seem like there is something going on that can make even a normal Female Dunmer become jaded?

First thing she gets accused of having something to do with the Emperor's murder.

When she goes to Kvatch - 1st she is asked to close the gate - done - wait, now help free those in the chapel - done - wait, now go clear the rest of the city - seeya, bye, later dude (even left Martin down with the other survivors)

Bought a house from some guy who knew it was haunted.

Tried to help recover a ring for a young lady who was not who she said she was.

Accidently killed an adventurer. Got a visit. Killed the guy who deserved it. Who is handing out the missions? A vampire ! I am a Member of the Order of the Virtuous Blood, I have killed hundreds.

Some Count wants me to check out a knight. She wants me to take her to see someone. She starts talking, then attacks him. It's 5 to 1 (to 2 by the time I react) but she is dead. The count blames me.

Need I say more.....

Sounds like you're asking if it's possible for a normal person to become tired by having us do everything?
If i'm reading this right i suppose, you're the hero and everyone's errand boy/girl much like skyrim. As far Kvatch tbh you're the only one with enough skill to free the city since you entered the gate of hell(literally) and closed it off. As opposed to the other people who were sent in either got killed, captured or still fighting.

Ya, I think it depends on order you do things, kvatch was pretty much a... holy *** monkies! you came out of OB gate!!! Everyone else died like nubs! you must be chuck norris good sir or madam!

Skingard was one of 1st places I went to, It was rather weird I was treated that nicely and asked to do things. Count and Female Orc one is mostly.. in my head its weird.

But in a way, Tat dude is the Count, He has power to do such things in a way...

"Bought a house from some guy who knew it was haunted." Thats just mostly a bad deal... thou turns out good.

Compared to Skyrim, where your treated like a milk drinker by 95% of Guild related people (which made me hate almost every group) I was Dragonborn and had saved world, and Compains treat me like some noobie when I go join... I honestly stopped playing for a few days. It was hard to try and beat it, knowing that character could wipe them out with out to much thought.

Mages Guild, having prove yourself to that self centered (insert many swear words ) dark elf at bridge. You got abit of extra options as Dragonborn....

I much rather have been able to shout her of bridge and kill her, and walk in and join.

On another character, 85 in destruct, and 60-70 many other magic schools... I was treated like a nub.. -_-'

Granted, your Hero it seems, knowingly or not.

Maybe next game you can feel out a personality thing. And given more talk options to npcs...

From Morrowind to OB, it was good jump, Skyrim itself opted for many sarcastic remarks.

I just hope they cut back on forced talking Npc's,,,, Theifs guild starter one, pisses me off. I hate how he walks up to you rich or not... and forces quest on you, good or bad karma character or not. It was dumb.

Same for Forsworn conspiracy... I wish I could have just thrown letter away, and canceled quest.

But ya, You seem to be that kind a person in every TES game, that just has that look about them... "hey this guy/gal looks like they'll do anything (I mean anything) for a few gold". -_-'

Hero hokers.

I found a loophole with Brynjolf on a new character if you purposely like get into the riften and like go by the stairs leading into the ratway wait until you see him walking towards you and like go into the rat way and get into the raggon flaggon. Not sure if it was a bug but for some reason every time after this he no longer comes at you with that whole "didn't work for that money eh" "coin purse feeling empty"..etc

This works for me on Ps3 version, I save my game in town, walk up to one of NPC's and start talking to vendors, (normally Dark elf selling food or One selling junk)

When Bryniof walks up, exit talking and bring up menu (map or inventory) then fast travel to Mystveil Keep.

Brynoif tends to teleports right back to his stall, and gets stuck. Reload save if he catches before menu pops up.

Long as you don't walk up to him, you can pretty much talk to vendors in peace.

Like you mention above, I think going thru door, or loading screen may just bug him out and halt script. Thou I seem to get it to work more often when he is trying talk to me and I fast Travel back to town.
