Problem with Race sizes

I've looked around for information on this, but can't find anyone that has mentioned this problem, which seems a little weird.

Basically, I've created a race that is 0.5 height and weight (I've also tried other values, eg, 0.6 and 2.0 and they have the following effect too). It works fine, but when they die they are reset to the normal 1.0 height and weight. As far as I can tell this happens with all races. The bone structure is set to that size I guess, so the ragdoll physics must need them that size? The same seems to occur with creatures that I've scaled.

Is this something that always happens? I can't find anyone mentioning it, so is it just me? Has anyone had this problem and found a way around it? It'd be extremely helpful if I didn't have to have everything be the same size.

Managed to fix it. Seems the disable/enable trick that works for everything else works for this too. I might go add that to the wiki.
