Looking for skirts to go with armor.

So, I'm going to start a new character on Morrowind, but I was wondering if anyone can recommend a mod that adds more skirts to the game. On my last (male) character, I found that these actually made the armor look quite a bit cooler, but I found only one or two really looked right.

I believe there was a mod which added tartan kilts to the game, for that purpose. Unfortunately i can't help you with the name. I never DL'd it and it's been more than 5 years since i played MW. :( I agree on the aesthetics of the skirt thing though. The Redorans did look cooler.

Plangkye used the skirt mesh in a number of clothes for the Hilgya mod - some of those might suit your armour - in the mesh folder they are typically referred to as 2pl_msorcerer_bottom_k - this a black split leather skirt - looks like it would work well with armour and looks protective as well

It would be nice to see them attached to the cuirass perhaps? I believe orcish armor has something similar to this.

That plate "skirt" attached to a cuirass is called a fauld. Occasionally these are augmented by tassets, which are separate vertical metal plates that hang down and cover the upper thighs. :grad:

The Roman soldiers wore a short toga as opposed to a long toga because it provided better ease of movement. Many other cultures wore kilts in battle as well.

There is a mod that adds some great Snow Wolf skin skirts, which look fabulous on gals with armor tops and snow wolf boots. The smith Brynjolfr(sp) in Thirsk sells them in the mod.

The ones in the Ultimate Clothing mod look perfect. I see they even designed some to meld with the armor aesthetics. Thanks!
