Any lore on the history of spriggans. Are bears/animals called by them to fight intruders by force or do they come willingly? Are they considered plants and protectors of the forest. Does hircine have anythibg to do with them?
Any recorded connunication with them? Any mages that specialized in nature(druids) that summoned them to fight in battle?

They are creations of Kyne/Kynareth that are essentially (a bit over zealously) protectors of the forests. I would think Fryse Hags (witches of Kyne on Solstheim) could summon them.. but they didn't in Bloodmoon.
