Need help with Oblivion install and mods

Hi
I could really use your help. I am not only new to this forum, but also relativly new to modding and sometimes it all just seems to go over my head.

I have been playing Oblivion for a long time and it was fun to play the vanilla game and then I got bored and started to mod the game. The first time it crashed every ten minutes, because I knew nothing about load orders and compatibility. After that I installed OBMM and BOSS.and I got it to work pretty well, but it [censored] up because I put the Downloaded files in the OBMM folder and it was the same directory as the original game and some files were shown as being double and some I had only half deleted.

So now I am reinstalling what seems to be the hundredths time

I read from a couple of websites that you should not put the game in program files. I have Windows 7 installed on a German computer.

My main folders in the C drive are
Users
Downloads
Programs
Programs(x86)
Temp
Windows

The guide says to install the game into C:/Games/Oblivion. Since that path does not exist should I make a game folder straight in the C Drive, should I use Programs instead of Programs (X86), which was my folder until now or should I use the already existing Game folder in C/Users/Games? I tried installing the game outside Programs and when I download it in the Programs (86) folder the path says C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion, but when I install it in programs it just creates the Oblivion folder and not a Bethesda Folder first. Is that normal will it still recognise the patches?

One question I have are what are the correct install and load orders.
The Last time I first installed the Official Oblivion Patch and than downloaded OBMM OBSE and BOss and than I used OBMM to transfer the DLC files to the Data folder. After that I installed the unofficial Oblivion Patch and the Unofficial Mod Patch and it created chaos, Some of the CLC as well as the Mod patch had a black mark next to them, which means that there major conflicts with files.

I would appreciate any help

I'm sorry, I really hope this is the right forum for this kind of question, if not feel free to move it.
