Spider crafting - help me figure out how to add to it.

Hi there,

so i am working on a mod that is going to involve spider crafting. Now I know how to add the crafting items to the game world and it works wonders but I want to add the two missing spider crafts to it.

The game has recipes and creatures for pack mule spiders (carry your stuff) and Glowing spiders (light up dark areas)

But I cannot figure out how to add these to the crafting chamber. I cant figure out how to find scripts, edit scripts or even how the hell this thing works.

In Morrowind the construction set (its version of creation kit)) allowed you to view, edit and write new scripts with in its own program but I can see no "scripts" button for me to view or edit in CK.

i am at a loss with this as I really want my new vendor (Arachnomancer) to sell these new creatures.

Now there is a spider craft mod that adds these creatures but I've taken a look an again see no way of how the author managed to add the recipes to the crafting chamber.

please help I am at my wits end.

Gameplay → Papyrus Script Manager.

Right click to create a new one. When you wanna add it to something, there will likely be a "scripts" field for it, where you can right click and hit add. Or click on the [New Script] header in the list.

hmm wont let me edit the spiderscript in external editor.

Also i tracked down the two things that might need editing they are "form lists" though and it wont let me edit/add to them

Isn't this introduced with Dawnguard? You gotta put the dawnguard scripts in the main source folder in order to edit them in the CK. (I don't do this, I just load them in sublim text 2)

nope added in dragon born dlc.

What scripts in what main source folder? Please treat me like an idiot - I am new to skyrim script modding.

The folder structure is:

Vanilla Skyrim: Scripts/Source ← The directory the CK is "set" to read from only.

Dawnguard: Scripts/Source/Dawnguard/

Dragonborn: Scripts/Source/Dragonborn/

ahhh right.

Ok i found the script and took a look at it. it isnt what i needed. Strange.

So i added the two spider recipes to the correct form id's and tested in game. Nothing happened. I am missing something and i dont know what it is.

right I am lost lol

the two spiders are in the CK already. I modified three form lists to which the spiders need to be added in order to work. Looks good - but its not working. Has anyone got any experience with this?
