I remember the one made by Headfirst Productions and published by Bethesda was an awesome game when it released in 2005. So different to anything else out there at the time.

I take it this new one has nothing to do with Bethesda?

Frogware have made some games with decent puzzles but are unlikely to win any beauty pageants.

"Call of Cthulhu" was the name of the original story featuring everyone's favorite ancient one. Since then, everybody's been recycling the title for their Lovecraft products. Including a tabletop RPG, which is what this game is based off of.

Call of Cthulhu is public domain now isn't it? I don't think they have to have a license to use it.
