Im going to be decisive on this question, so here it is:
Can you marry if you have been widowed?
Its been debated so many times, but I still cannot find a decisive "Yes or No" answer. I just want to know!

Ninja'd...I should stop putting 5-10 minutes into finding an appropriate link
You can only marry once in the game, make it count, and keep your spouse alive.
Unfortunately not. My poor Uthgerd is still dead in my bedroom after trying to get married one more time.
You can if you play on the PC.
The poeple saying no are either console players or they don't know the powers of console commands.
On my current save, I've remarried two times. The first time I married Hroki, but then I ditched her for Mjoll, but then I ditched her for Hroki again because Mjoll didn't move to my house in Falkreath.
Ok, so its a "No, not without the console"
Thanks.
Precisely. The reason being that with console commands, you can remove yourself and your spouse from the faction that is marriage, and you can reset the "get married" quest so you can redo it, then advance yourself in that quest so that you skip the part where you speak to maramal (because obviously you can't speak to him about marriage a second time normally, and when you force a stage in that quest, you simply talk to your next wife and then maramal)
Though, doing this seems to incur a bug. Your spouse does not move with you to your house. He/she stays doing what he/she did previously.
I was about to pull the bug card, but I got the "two new recent posts" message :c
You can still just force him/her into your home, right? Then limit his/her "freedom", and then make sure he/she gets his/her intended dialogue.
Edit: typo
I've tried moving to my house then moving the wife to me (prid refID, then moveto player) but she just leaves as if she didn't belong there. Something is amiss, but then again you're not supposed to be able to remarry)
Perhaps altering her schedule? But that would probably get you a bucket list of bugs.
Kinda silly from Bethesda. Here's hoping TES:VI allows you to re-marry.
