Haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, but is there a wardrobe/transmogrification-like feature so I can always have the look I wanted regardless of the gear I'm wearing currently ?

There is a costume slot, so you can wear items over your armour as well as disguises.

I think the question is, can he skin armor with another armors look.

Two other options ,you can craft other races armor and you can improve armor not only enhant

please remember that not everything has to be in at launch. mmo games evolve over time. what might not be in game now could very well be there this time next year

True, took some years for WOW to get transmogrification. Remember to save the starting gear
