Daggerfall City. Size and Map

Post » Sat Jan 25, 2014 8:21 pm

Is there a map of Daggerfall city? What is its size? Is there a map of the city? And can Morrowind, Oblivion & Skyrim have a recreated version of the city with their engines?

A quick image search came up with http://img93.imageshack.us/img93/7914/daggerfallmap1jg.jpg. I am not sure if it is from Daggerfall or Arena.

I can see the city of Daggerfall made from the Gamebryo/Creation engine. As a matter of fact, Todd Howard mentioned in the past that he wanted to revisit Daggerfall at some point.

Thanks I hope that they do come back to Daggerfall and make it even more interesting than the original. I wonder if its possible for Daggerfall to be placed in the other games through modding.

Np. With all the city/province mods these days for all three TES games, I am sure there is a Daggerfall city mod somewhere in there!

Well I can confirm that that is the map of Daggerfall from TES:II. It's absolutely massive isn't it? It also makes small scale concept art, like that of ESO, slightly disappointing.

It seems like the size of Vivec.

Hmm, I've never been to Daggerfall city in-game, but looking at that map it must be incredible - an actual city to get actually lost in. It looks bigger than any TES city, with the exception perhaps of the Imperial City or Vivec - but those don't count IMO since they're split into separate loadzones.
