I just bough Elder Scrolls V from Target, entered in the proper code (aaaaa-bbbbb-ccccc-ddddd-eeeee), and Steam is telling me that it is invalid! What are my options at this point? I do not think that Target will accept an open box. I have never had this happen before. I hav also triple checked that the letters and numbers.

Try and contact bethesda support or steam and see if they can help, or go back to target and tell them to give you a working code.
