Most obscure areas of the game world?

Have you found any hidden tucked away areas in the world? There's a huge valley south of Falkreath which runs behind the mountains which I once came across... and if you asked me to find it again, I would honestly have trouble doing so.

It depends on your definition of obscure. Because some of the most well hidden places are some of the most notable.

There's a hidden escape from Whiterun which I find pretty cool. There's also a way to get to the really high balcony in Markarth, and a hidden entrance to Solitude. In the wilderness there are countless obscure areas. I'm running into stuff all the time! :D

Before Dawngaurd came out, My answer would be Radbthar. The Chill is a close second.

There are plenty of places that a Player will not see in this Game in hundreds or even thousands of Hours.

I found two Skeletons I had never noticed before in the Game, an advlt and a Child - The Child was laying inside the advlt

A bit south of Dragonbridge, there is something like a sacrificial altar with those old Nord pillars, and a swing gate that leads to nothing. Never had any encounters there. No little notes there or anything.

Small vale west of Bloodlet Throne with two orichalcum veins.

Wrecked cart with several books (including The Legendary Sancre Tor skill book) scattered around it in a pass west of Robbers Gorge / north east of Broken Tower Redoubt.

The road location west of Fort Neugrad where the opening carriage ride commences.

There is a path near Markarth that leads up into the mountains to a single hagraven lair.

Personally I think that whole area south of Helgen and Falkreath is underused. There are (relative to the rest of the game world) few dungeons or creature spawns in that area. I bet few players go there very often.

I wrote south of Falkreath: the area down around Angi's Camp, Bloodlet Throne, Southfringe Sanctum and other POIs down at the southern area of the map.

Fort Dawnguard is pretty darned obscure on the very edge of the map in its own secret canyon.

Castle Volkihar. Not only is it ridden with horrible bloodsvckers, it's also full - and I literally mean FULL, of human remains. Bones, skulls, torsos.. Gives me the creeps

If people can't remember names of locations, here is the map with all POIs. http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20111127145803/elderscrolls/images/8/88/Skyrimmap.png

Adrianne Avenicci's bosom Sir.
And that's the way it's likely to stay despite my characters twittering.
I don't think she is into girls.
Or married girls for that matter.

I mean.... (voice quavering).....is it me?

To me, Angi's Camp is one of THE most obscure locations in Skyrim. I remember walking on the path down by the mountain base and--no matter how hard I searched and jumped up the mountain wall--I just could NOT get up there!

I ended up going completely around and into Ancient's Ascent (incidentally I was able to complete a bounty for Jarl Sidgeir by killing the dragon there) . I hopped up past the Word Wall and headed up the mountain into a snow blizzard and FINALLY found Angi's Camp.

That area isn't always empty--just last week I visited Angi at her camp and a dragon appeared just above her house. I don't know about the rest of you, but I've NEVER encountered a dragon that far south! I was able to kill it without losing Angi or my follower Cosnach.

Arcwind Point is also an obscure location.
