I really miss my mortar and pestle..

I used to love making in field potions... it added a great sense of survival. Im not arguing for full alchemy gear, just a M+P cos carrying one of those is atleast realistic. With my trusty M+P I could pretty much live off the land. I think it was a mistake getting rid of it.

If you want it back then suggest it in http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1483221-official-beyond-skyrim-tes-vi-31/page-4

I never used alchemy at all in Oblivion.

That is one feature of Morrowind/Oblivion I couldn't stand and I'm glad it's gone.

I miss that mechanics too. It was more rewarding for me to search and upgrade my apparatus.

That's not very good advice for such an integral part of TES. This might work for fast travel, but not for Alchemy.

There could be both systems in the game, I mean the Skyrim benches and those things from Morrowind and Oblivion, so everyone could choose one or just use both.

[insert patronizing video that floats around the forums a lot, about how Skyrim isn't dumbed down or watered down or getting stupider]

edit-

[insert mocking sardonic comment about using ones imagination because that's how you play a RP]

^Just you know adding common arguments on the forums so the people, and you know who you are, don't have to add them themselves.

maybe they wanted to make it "casual friendly" so they will have more people interested in buying the next game which could be better than all TES combined.
Or they thought they get the lotz of monehz and lose de hardcoe fanzz.

No, daggers are still like daggers, and shortswords have gone the way of the dodo...like they (shortswords) never even existed.

Is it not more casual friendly to have the ability to use alcemy everywere you go rather than only use them in towns, huts etc ?
