Why can I kill ghosts with iron weapons?

Post » Sun Jan 26, 2014 9:55 am

This not only makes the game easier, but seriously discards lore from past games, that did not allow anything less than elvish weapons to hurt the undead.

It is UNACCEPTABLE! I demand that Beth reinstate ghost immunity to lesser weapons.

I agree. But you know, "spreadsheety" and all that jazz. To be fair, ghosts are very rare in Skyrim.

I demand as well.

But instead

[insert common argument about how Skyrim is great]

[insert common argument that it would have made the game to complicated, but really just trying to be a troll]

[insert common argument about how you have to fix all the lore breaking and otherwise flawed system in skyrim by being Imaginative. And you have to do the damage yourself because imagining features that aren't there will fix it]

^There we can end the thread now

I think it was Silver or enchanted weapons in Oblivion if I remember correctly, not sure about Morrowind its been a long time since I played it. But yeah, it doesn't make sense to me either.

Silver and Daedric[Dremora, Golden Saint, Dark Seducer, Knight of Order weapons, and all Daedric artifacts included]

And of course, enchanted weapons.[enchantment and charge irrelevant]

Because [censored] logic.

Ok seriously though, Idk but I'm kinda sure not everyone would want to use laser weapons to kill ghosts.

No physical weapon should be able to kill ghosts, really. I mean, they're ghosts.

Talking about Ghost.

I personally prefer Oblivion's ghost v.s. Skyrims.

IDK, creepier in Oblivion.

To human in Skyrim.

Rare or not, not only should they be immune to normal weapons, but they also shouldn't be dropping them either. They should be dropping ectoplasm like they did previously.

Other than that one Daedric quest, there aren't very many ghosts in Skyrim. At least not ones you have to fight anyways. There are a few quests that feature spirits or whatever, but I agree with you. I prefered Oblivion's ghosts to Skyrim's as well.

I've never thought about that before, how does a ghost hold a sword?

Well that's what I have been saying.

The most common enemy in game ,in a non DB MQ character

-Wolves

-Spiders

-Saber Cats

-Frostbite Spiders

-Skeevers

I think Bethseda forgot they were making a fantasy game and only remembered in Solstheim
