It might have been a fluke. It happened several times, and then I unchecked the following mods by Yacoby and it worked:

Time Display

Third Person Crosshair

Close Inspection

Ownership Inpection

Then, I opened up Wrye Mash again and turned them back on, and the game still worked fine.

Must have just been my comp on the fritz after starting Morrowind for the first time in a long while. Problem solved itself I suppose. Weird.
