I just installed the latest version of NMM and I have already come across a major problem: files from the nexus just won't download into NMM.

A few have gotten through and installed completely, yet most of the mods I try to install cannot even start downloading

For about a minute it says Downloading... and then Error... it fails and says the files could not be found

I run the NMM as administrator as well, anyone know what could be the cause of this problem?

Nexus could be having some issues, try doing a manual download and see if that works. If it does just make NMM install that file from where ever you download it to.

same has been happening to me the past 2 days, and actually, when I try to install a file from Nexus website, and NMM isn't open, it constantly tries to open it twice.

I've just been downloading the files to my desktop or download folder (manually), then having NMM load those using "add from file"...same difference really lol

I've been having a lot of problems with NMM and the Nexus site as well for the past couple of days. I can't use NMM at all unless I start it in offline mode; if I try to launch it in default mode, I get a prompt that I have to log in to the Nexus (even when I'm already logged in), and the login hangs and eventually returns an error message about being unable to reach the server.

Also experiencing quite a few long page load times, timeouts, site down for maintenance screens, etc. when trying to navigate the Nexus. The downloads all seem to work okay though, once I reach those servers.

If you haven't already, update to the latest version of NMM. I think one of the updates changed the way users log in, and older versions simply stopped working....

I'll try it out - I think I'm using an older version.
