Bujold's Fate

Post » Tue Jan 28, 2014 1:35 am

Anyone know how to handle this? Although she's been rejected as leader, my Dragonborn isn't prepared to kill her just because she won't take no for an answer. Not only that but her people seem to like and accept her. The same goes for turning her in as a fraud. It practically tears the whole group apart. On the other hand, the third choice, to go along with it, might be dishonest, but at least the group seems happy. Then there is a chance that Bujold might eventually turn a new leaf whilst still keeping the group together. So far he's gone along with the lie because it's obvious from her reactions that she's obstinately determined to keep her position, but he's not sure about the other two choices.

I let her lead the group. I think she's right, actually. Why listen to a ghost for guidance anyway? I kept her lie because sometimes, what's "right" isn't "right", if you know what I'm saying.

Besides, she's quite the looker ;)

Dishonest=dishonorable so she died by my axe because I didn't agree to lie for her....I slept well that night. ;)

You need not worry about her milk drinking BF being angry, the rest of the mead hall still respects you and will ask for your help in their side jobs.

My take on it was that she was the best choice from a bad bunch. She may not have been a good leader, but nobody from that group would do a better job, either. So I gave a second chance to become what she needed to be.

That's pretty much what I was thinking. The group's a joke anyway, so why not let them have their joke leader? I see them as more friends than a serious bunch of warriors. Her lies to a bunch of drunks isn't really a good reason to kill her, is it? And as I said, people can change. People who weren't honorable before can find it later on, especially if they're pushed in the right direction. How I see it is, as long as they've got their barroom buddy of a leader then that's all that matters, isn't it?

She is walking in the wake of the Snake's coil, which is acceptable for every Nord.

I say you let her continue to lead the group and let Tsun judge her when she reaches Sovngarde.

I let her live. She showed true leadership the moment she said - screw the ghost, I'm taking charge.

I see your point. Actually, it might even be a psychology test by their ghost idol to see if she has command ability? She might have disobayed him, but then sometimes generals have to go it alone rather than following orders slavishly. In the living world she is in charge and every living member has accepted her in the role, and the group needs a leader. The spirit might have realised that and is testing her to see if she's a leader or a robot.

I let her live and I covered for her. I tried both ways to see what I liked and the group seems happier with her there. Without her they are depressed.

Bad leader vs no leader...

How come I can't be leader? lol

She's hot and suits the leather helmet. 99% of characters don't suit it.
She may be a weak leader but she is still a leader at heart.
I let her live.

A Nord isn't judged by how he or she has lived, only how he or she died. If they died honorably, it doesn't matter what they did when they lived.
