I was travelling to a quest today, and while walking, I saw a dead person, knew I didn't kill him, since it was my first time in that area this play through. But.. will this be a problem for me? Is there only 1 courier that delivers all the letters?

nah, I think there are several. I've seen them with various looks.

Don't worry about. There will be many (hopefully clothed) couriers with a package for you.

That is a random encounter with a courier who has a letter leading to treasure and death.

Couriers never truly die. dont worry.

A normal courier doesn't die. You probably ran into a stormcloak/imperial courier. They die and are in no way important.

You're gonna love it on PC ! Especially with all the mods! I've been playing PC with mods for like 2 weeks now, and have enjoyed every minute of it ! Btw...make sure you check out Vilja (or Inigo), and definitely skyrim immersive creatures (makes it a lot more fun walking from location to location)

My messengers are ALWAYS naked.......

But yea, like others have said, it's a random event.

Also just see his race, the normal courier is always a nord. the random encounters are usually elves. either ways even if the nord one died (you're on PC), he will still respawn again.
