I'm currently playing a male Nord but I'm contemplating changing him to a female and if I ever marry on this one, whom should I marry? I was thinking a female-female relationship (but a male would work too tho)

every NPC that is married by the player opens up a shop.
I have roleplayed a pimp in Skyrim a few times.

I'm male myself but I don't mind marrying males in Skyrim. When I play a character I feel like I'm a spectator of a movie or a tale writer, not the person itself. So it doesn't bother me.

Why don't you create a follower/spouse NPC. That way he/she could be perfect for your character.
