I am stuck at the first part of the waters of life. I can't get Dad into Jefferson Memorial. Dr Li is in there but I can't get Dad in. I have already wiped out the brutes and super mutants both in the rotunda, the basemant area and outside the memorial area on the pathways leading up to it as I had completed the scientific pursuits earlier. I have checked everywhere to see if there are any mutants that need kililng but there arent. I have even tried the radioactive pools to see if there is something missing but there does not appear to be anything in there.

I have spent a couple of days trying to do this and am now getting frustrated. Can anybody help.

are you running any mods? if not then you are an a pickle. i haven't heard anything about this. where is your dad?

I am not sure if I am running mods as sorry I don't know what they are. Dad is standing outside the Jefferson memorial at the bottom of the walkway bridge thing and keeps saying I can't talk to you now son as we need to get to Project Purity.

Do you have a save close to that time? I suspect that you will need to reload that save. Or, punch your Dad, and then yield to him to see if that works. Save often. I save before I enter any unknown building or area. I also make a save before a quest, and of course, during.

You said you were sure you got all the mutants. Did you check behind the statue in the tank? The walkway goes all the way around. There is usually one super mutant back there for me.
