Just treated myself to an M14 gaming laptop and got skyrim, and fo3 and NV. Sorry if these questions are common knowledge or have been answered before. Ive always been an xbox guy.

So I know what the creation kit is all about. I'm wondering how I get it? Cause I can't find it anywhere? Is it a download or how does it work? And as far as "console commands" I know you hit the ~ key to bring it up but what exactly are they and how are they used?

You find the Creation Kit in Steam, in your Library/Tools menu.

And most of the console commands can be found here: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Console

Warning, using them can break your game if you don't know what you're doing.
