I'm about to embark on the Revealing the Unseen quest, I read that there is a Chaurus in the ruins,
If I get myself poisoned by a Chaurus, will the Restoration spell (Heal) be able to cure me?

I'm pretty sure you need a Cure Poison potion to cure the poison status. Healing will obviously heal the health damage that comes along with poison, but the actual poison status won't go away until it wears off or is cured.
