So, first of all, you are being personal, when really I do not care about the way they handle their game.

Wow this has got to be the most negative post i have read in the past couple of days and that is saying a lot..... i am guessing that you don't have any experience with playing a 3 faction game. Read up on DAoC about the pvp and how that created a community that is still going surprisingly. The whole not able to create a constant world and instancing, that was actually a brilliant idea, now we don't have 40 different servers we have one huge mega server and now we are able to play with our friends with no server restrictions at all, yes they might be in a different instance but that just takes a second to swap over, not like in the past if you were not on the same servers someone had to start a new character, its a great thing actually, it will build a lot more community and we won't be gated as some games that have came out have been, FF 14A RR for example, people were forced to play on servers they didn't want to because servers were locked down even before release.

You cant have open areas with 3 factions, it doenst work, being that you would be KOS to the particular race you would have people sneaking back into the starter areas and griefing the nooblets (saw it happen in camelot when they had a bug with a gate) and it would break the whole faction immersion (not to say it hasnt been now with the ability to put any race in in faction)

They evidently know how to set the alliances up because they did this in beta and there was no issue at all.

That is the case with every game, people whined here about not being able to play the race they wanted in the faction they wanted, well they unlocked that and now people are whining about that now. There are multiple things the community has asked for and they have delivered and on all counts the community has again whined and complained when they got what they asked for. there is no pleasing a lot of you no matter what they do. The best thing for Z to do is just make the game they envisioned and let the chips fall where they may, because there is no pleasing a lot of the people here no matter what they do.

Really so their inability to allow people to travel anywhere on the map to do quests that could have changed their faction standing or Alliance standing isnt related to them locking faction the way they did?

As it stands there are no factional locks now anyway. why? because they waved a magic money wand and sold a way to get rid of them. So they kill two birds with one stone, they got to keep their horrible world design AND they made money off it and made people thankful to pay for it.

Rather than deliver an actual Elder Scrolls world where you could truly go where you want when you want.

All these things are inter related whether you want to believe them or not. Anyone who has played any MMORPG games or just RPG games recognizes HOW things have been done with other games. hat was 'cool' and what was 'corner cutting. If the NDA ever gets lifted we might get some feedback on that. But I doubt it happens anytime soon. For whatever reason.

people can applaud them for making changes all they want, but a QUALITY game wouldnt have had to make the changes, and especially the way they have been done in this game. They would have been implemented into the game in a seamless and meaningful way. Not thrown in 5 seconds before the game was released as a pre order 'perk' which will eventually end up being a cash shop purchase.

No.

Loading screens have nothing to do with faction locks. That's all I said.

And people can visit other areas. It's time to get used to it, or to not play.

Thats beta with such a small number of players they allowed in its pathetic. What happens when a million people are logging in? Whats the most beta invites they have sent out? 20K? 25K? Even if they did invite that many at once its a far far far cry from what is going to happen when the game goes live.

But I am trying to keep this on topic of what we know not speculation, because like I said the critics have a lot more on their side in the speculation game.

If they dont allow PvP in the open world then how are guys going to be ganking noobs? At worst you have guys killing NPC city guards if they get to KoS on a faction and you allow that mechanic. But you know what stops that? One shot guards. Problem solved.

If people really wanted to play with their friends bad enough they (the players) could have figured it out. Or the game could have included a mechanic in it to allow them to get there.

They basically eviscerated all the reasoning they had for why they did what they did with alliances and factions and races. But I dont want to go full RP nerd or Lore nerd. I really dont care one way or the other. I do care the way it was done. Just more examples of a company taking on more than they could handle.

Bioware was seen as the best company ever basically in terms of RPG games. Swotor buried them. it was clear to anyone with eyes that they released a game horrendously unfit to be called a Star Wars game.I wont be too shocked if Bethesda has the same fate once all is said and done.

A lot of 'great' companies over reach. So they wont be the first, they wont be the last either. I just look at what is being said, and more importantly what is NOT being said. take what I do know what I have seen and use al that to make as informed a decision as I can.

The game has problems, most we cant talk about but THIS the WAY they did the CE we CAN talk about, and it is most definitely related to the other issues the game has.

If the NDA ever gets lifted there will be many people whom I am sure have the full picture of everything neatly laid out.

Until then we can only talk about what we know.

But there will always be the fans who dont ever see anything wrong with anything their favorite developer does. Thats why theyre a horrible source. Worse even than the blind haters of a game.

But that is the 'beauty'of this particular subject. The haters arent exclusive to not liking it. Some actual fans dont like it either. Thats why it is such a linchpin in the whole saga.
