Part of my enjoyment of this forum is looking at screenshots of in game play or wip or even uploading my own shots

However my time with ImageShack is coming to an end as it moves to a subscription model instead of an advert paid model

Sometimes the images I uploaded couldn't be seen by some as well

Imageshack say they are not deleting no subscribed members yet so i'll leave my pics there for a while but I suspect they will disappear soon

It's been a while since the stickie on hosting images was updated so i am just asking here for recommendations on which image hosts you use and why they are good - e.g. doesn't matter where you are in the world you can view the pics

Please don't suggest photobucket - I don't know why but I've never liked that service

I'm pretty sure imgur.com is free and easy to use. I don't think you even need to log in.

Imgur is the way to go for uploading images. No gimmicks or catches, or having to log in. Just literally go there, click Computer or Web, specify the path of the image, and boom...your image is ready to be linked.

Imgur is the simplest to use.

I mainly use Dropbox though. But simply because it has more to offer than just image hosting. I use it for sharing files with other modders and other forms of collaboration (you can share folders and such). It can set up galleries and direct link to images, making i fairly versatile.

I personally use deviantart. It is not it's main purpose, but for one I use it also for other purposes than only for morrowind screens and two is that you can be sure that your pics won't get deleted, exceed maximum amount of views and other stuff like that. The only disadvantage is that uploading of lot of images takes some time (due to the fact that you cannot upload more than 1 picture at a time AFAIK).
