I never knew it had the same quality as Elven, and it's perfect for my nord who uses light armor! Would be good for an assassin as well.

Anything can have a hide protection value with a high smithing level, honestly I like making the bandit clothes a top tier armor set and wearing that just to play as a hunter character.
