There'd be no point in getting the digital CE if the only difference was a mount.

This question is obviously geared more towards the Physical version of CE.

I was waiting to see what kind of editions there would be, and I'm definitely getting the Imperial Edition. I need that Molag Bal statue.

Not so much the statue as the book and map, but yeah. And of course the horse. I probably won't even make an Imperial until my 3rd or 4th character.

I am getting the Physical Imperial Edition, I love that Molag Bal Statue, the Imperial race, the horse I don't care about but ehh I'll take it.

I don't know why but I have an obsession with getting at lest the original release of a game in a physical copy. If they do expansions like wow I will probably ignore the box sets unless they come with more bad ass statues lol..

It was always my plan to buy the boxed CE, now that I've seen it has a big lore book I'm even more interested.

I'm not sure I understand the question.

Are you asking people who've bought the imperial edition whether or not they'd buy it if it didn't include 'exclusivize' Imperials?

Or if people overall are more likely to buy it if the Imperial race was mandatory.

Mount, pet, XP. They should probably replace the race with a title.

Is that enough? Or do you want content for the $20?

So, can we have like, one thread where someone doesn't try to move it to imperials and imperial talk.

From a business stand point, do you really think someone would spend an extra $20 for a title(text next to your name)?

The mount is the same exact speed as every other mount you can purchase in game.

The XP is a ring that only works if you're playing with 1 specific ally all the time. Also, it's a ring that IS going to be available to everyone in the game that did not purchase CE.

I'm not saying that the Imperial race is what they should have done to get people to pay extra for CE, but if it wasn't something substantial, nobody would buy it.

I'm not even considering buying the game . Seen enough WoW clones already ... And no , the Imperial edition won't change a thing for that .

YEs people will. People have spent 1000s of dallars on polygon ships they can't even play yet in Star Citizen. People drop 20 bucks on a single skin in LoL. People drop 20+ bucks on mounts that only have a special skin in WoW. People drop 50+ bucks on tanks that are mediocre compared to normal tanks in WoT. So yes, people would spend a lot of money for very little. The poll is showing so as well.

But plenty of CE's come out for games with no additional content or real perks and get bought up.

I just want to know what the thread is asking so I can answer the poll <_>

I've been pulling an all-nighter to reset my sleep schedule so my skills of perception are dull, more so than usual.

Asking if Imperials were included in all editions, would people still buy the Collector's Edition. Since it's a big deal for a lot of people bashing on ZOS marketing (me included). What worries me though is the post-launch any race any alliance, making the whole game title invalid D:

Here is how I would do it, drop the faction selection for all characters as preorder bonus, leave the pet and the 5 day head start.

Give the faction selection for all characters to the collector edition instead of the imperials.

Other players can buy the select faction for an single new character for an $4 service fee.

Imperials is playable for all from the 4/4 they will be assigned to the faction with fewest members so unless you have the CE you have to wait.

Think this will make far more people happy.

Yes the preorder part get nerfed, so give them some more fluff but the main benefit is the 5 day head start.

CE get something more valuable than the imperial race.
