I recently started a new character and while trying to figure which direction I want to take him, I remembered that I've always wanted to play a bit of a vampire hunter. I know that there a lot of mods out there that change/improve the vampire playing experience, but I don't recall any that makes hunting anything other than just a hobby.

I did find one mod that makes it where you have to use a stake to kill the vampires, but that's not what I'm looking for.

I'm not looking for anything over the top, maybe just something that points out vampire hideouts rather than just stumbling on them (or making a list from the CS). Any ideas?

I don't know of any mods that do what you're looking for, but yours is a perfectly timed question.

Just the other day I was thinking about this for opposite reasons (playing a vampire character ): how do I make her find a vampire lair, other than by looking around?

If no one knows about a mod for this, I could just put one together.

Just adding a few rumors in dialogue so they appear in the right areas should do the trick...

At one point I was thinking of putting a book in game listing the vampire lairs and their location, making it a guide for vampire hunters. I was going to write it as the memoirs of a vampire hunter, and perhaps place a copy in the Secret Library in Vivec, near to Galur Rithari's papers. Maybe one day I'll get to it, but I can't really do it at the moment. I used to really enjoy writing books and notes for my mods, back when I was a more active modder.

Might not be exactly what you are looking for, but it is about the only thing I can remember seeing that has anything like what you are asking for.
