I know what you mean, I had that impression too, my attempts to make Cyrodiil look like a dreamy painting seem to have been rather too successful!

And now ... you knew it was coming ... I must report that my "extended" image capture, "On Patrol to Bruma, episode 01 - Talos to Red Ring" has received what is hopefully its final revision. Additional avatar voicing has been added. A number of rather wooden original lines are redone (sometimes at the expense of clarity). Best viewed in the Large Player at 720p. It can be found via the link in my signature. Episode 01 best showcases my texture replacement choices as well as the results of my long-ago abandoned self-created LandscapeLOD experimentations. Episode three remains my personal favorite, with episode four a close second. I'm not happy with everything I did in the videos, but am content and at least not embarrassed.

I filmed my avatar's recent journey from Bravil to Imperial Bridge Inn, hoping to get enough good footage for a video or two. Sadly, it might not be possible. The trip was almost a polar opposite of the Bruma patrol. There, all combats were meaningful (or could be made meaningful with proper dialog) and Vilja, bless her, often said exactly the right thing at the right time. Neither of those apply to the Imperial Bridge Inn footage. Oh, I might be able to salvage enough raw material to construct a viewable episode or two, but it'll be a struggle. Not sure if I'm up to it. In any case, I need to invest in a decent quality mic before getting too involved in video production.
