hello Anybody

i have been playing Skyrim V for months and found it riddled with bugs and occasional crashes on the xbox 360. i have been trying to obtain patches and updates and have been unsuccessful ( for weeks now). i joined steam, who say they have nothing to do with it,contact bethesda. Can someone ( preferable someone who has actually done it) _ give me an idiots guide to

1 where do you find the patches/ fixes ?

2. how do i get them unto the xbox to fix the game?

I have a basic wireless broadband connection to the Xbox with no microsoft gold account or anything like that

Your game should update if you log on to Xbox live (No gold is needed).

What was your latest patch? cause Patch 1.9 is the last for consoles.

You need an Xbox Live account. Go here and sign-up: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/join/free
All that is required is an email address.

Then just put the game in and the patches will install.

(you don't need a Gold account)

Why did you contact Steam? Steam applies for the PC version only.

As stated, you do need an Xbox LIVE account, but a free Silver account will do the job, and you should be promtped to download the updates. Assuming you aren't already updated.

Blessings of Akatosh to all your replies ....... i logged back into the Xbox after a not doing so for a couple of weeks and the most important bugs fixed itself ???? a bit of a surprise. I went onto Steam because i had read somewhere on the update trail ( obviously falsely) that i needed a steam account, but this is the place to be for answers ...... Thanks again ))))

Xbox 360 is done through a Microsoft Live account. You can get a 2 year $99 Live Account from Amazon.
