I made a video talking about a lot of the controversial subjects that have arisen since the announcement of the Collector's Edition.

I talk about the Imperial Race, Any Race / Any Alliance, and the dreaded 'Cash Shop' that people are prophesying.

I use official statements and such from ZoS staff and outlets to provide evidence for any opinions I make. But the purpose behind the video is to provide information for newer people to the forum.

Even though I am not a big part of this community, I visit the forums multiple times every day and read a lot of the threads and messages. And it gets annoying when people say that things are FACT, when they either made something up with no evidence to back it up, or have just misunderstood a statement or phrase someone said.

Regarding the cash shop, I think I provide enough official evidence to say that there is no "Cash Shop" or the micro-transaction system people are talking about. Yes, of course ESO will have a store on their website. Every game has a store on their website where you can buy the game.

I hope the video helps new members grasp what's true and false, and help stop the spread of what seems like propaganda about ESO.

Also, If I have said something in the video that you think/know is wrong, let me know. If you have any info on corrections or updates about something I've said, please let me know and I'll add it to the video some how or to this thread.

Yeah. I tried to ignore some of it, but when it keeps getting spread and you actually see someone something false in one thread, then go onto another thread and say it's fact is quite demoralizing haha!

I understand the NDA, and not being able to talk about stuff in game. But when it comes to thing like the Cash Shop. There are actually statements from ZoS saying there is NOT any micro-transactions or the kind of cash shop people are saying there are.

Good video although facts don't seem to matter

People will not believe that this is not a cash shop / day 1 DLC / Pay to win because this is what they WANT to believe. They love to complain and the less they know the more they think they know (psychologists call this the Dunning-Kruger effect).

Seeing they don't believe the official details because they don't want to believe the details they will remain under their opinion. This egocentricity may even continue once the game has released or the NDA has lifted.

I hope the NDA will lift soon and I suspect that it might happen Friday (as http://www.gamezone.com/news/2014/02/03/where-is-the-elder-scrolls-online-preview-it-s-coming article suggests that they can say more at that point). This is of course not based on knowledge and the website might be releasing information carefully vetted by ZeniMax
