No one fell for anything, every one has there preferences, this is a big win for those who prefer the imperial race, now they dont have to "pretend" and use a nord.

I'm like a kid on christmas eve just waiting to open the presents.. and if I get nothing but socks I will cry, I will throw a tantrum and I'll lock myself up in my closet and refuse to get out!
My concern isn't the money. My concern is the direction the company might take (and somewhat has shown already) and the audiance it will be targeting and what the community might become. People with money and social advantages (because of it) tend to think they are entitled to more because of said advantage. They tend to be more egotistical and have a really bad attitude than others. This isn't only my personal observation it's also shown in studies.
And btw, you should've come to Sweden for the boob job.. a friend of mine got one for $1000-1500.. that's about 10 years ago tho ;)

All this proves is that people have a hard time with numbers. The data itself only shows that people who buy the game prefer the imperial over the standard edition.

One not so small factor for this:

  • Transactions are on digital copies of ESO - Standard and Imperial - from two retailers: UK-based Green Man Gaming and US-based Gamefly Digital.

Both of which had huge sales of 20-25% on ESO during the period the data was gathered. Of course many people are going to pick up the imperial edition - for the price of the standard edition.

  • These are discounted pre-orders, with Imperial Edition between $60 and $64 depending on the day and retailer, and Standard Edition at $45 to $48. This might be a factor in Imperial sales (some may think: "Well I was already planning on spending $60...")
