I was just curious if we will see an option available once ESO is live for a Lifetime Sub to the game?

I know Lifetime Subs are usually a red flag, I get that part, but personally I don't mind paying a chunk up front to know I'll always have access to the game and its updates.

Just curious! I doubt we will see any option like this but I thought I would ask!

Unlikely, games offering that are games that know they are doomed.

They said they will have more information on subscription plans as we get closer to launch. No word on lifetime as of now.

Highly unlikely, that is for games that have no predecessor or some sort of novelty that you just don't know how people will react to.

I was hoping for such, but considering how they tricked people with this CE version and their sales, they will not offer it.

Thing is, IF they offer it AFTER the game goes live it means that they are losing sub's at a quick pace, thats when you should fear it.

Also, not all who offer a lifetime sub means they know they are doomed, I believe even WoW had a lifetime sub at one point.

Those WoW lifetime subs were given out to contest winners. Never sold.

Sticking with games who offer lifetime subs know they are doomed.

I can tell you right now from the leaked video's I saw, the early game is nothing surprising, hopefully after the NDA is lifted some videos on end game shows some really sick end game otherwise it will indeed die off after 1 year of hype.

Lets wait and see this end game and how it actually plays off.
