Uh, well I won't exactly agree with you there. Sometimes games do have to change and they very often do and have positive results from that.

I'd say that people shouldn't expect *drastic* changes. But games, just like everything else, need to evolve with the changing economic and social climates. Remaining in the past just means that the only audience they have is people who remain in the past.
