Since it isn't canon anymore, is the Force Unleashed Duology worth playing just for the sake of experiencing it?

I've played the games (which were bad) and read the novels (much more improved over the games). But what would you recommend for a newcomer?

Not really. The games were bad, as you said, but not in an entertaining way, unfortunately. They're not worthwhile.

I liked the first one best. It had the better story. I liked the gameplay aspects of the 2nd one better, but the story was just atrocious.

Since when was it not canon? I thought the first game was canon anyways

One of the canon police tweeted about it. It makes sense, as Rebels would work better with a clean slate than playing off the Rebel Alliance formation in the Force Unleashed series.

I thought it worked great as it was in the Force Unleashed. The fact that the Rebellion was created by Vader just makes sense, to have all their enemies expose themselves like that.

first one was alright... the second one............................... the final boss fight was ridiculously annoying
