Ive read the rules and ive tried to play a few times but i just dont get it . Can anyone try to explain it to me?

You've got three stacks of cards, and you're trying to get them all as close to 26 as you can without going over. Each stack has to go upwards or downwards numerically, so if you place a 5 then a 7, you can only follow up with numbers larger than 7. If you place a 5 then a 3, you can only follow up with numbers smaller than 3.

The face cards affect cards that are already placed, and can be used on your stack or an opponent's.

King: doubles the value of whatever card it's attached to. A 2 with a king attached becomes a 4, a 2 with two kings attached becomes an 8, a 2 with three kings attached becomes a 16. You can use this against your opponent to boost the value of their stack over 26.

Queen: changes the "direction" of a stack. If your stack goes 6, 5, 4, you can attach a queen to the 4 and place a number on it with a greater value, so your stack could go 6, 5, 4(Q), 5, 6. You can use this against your opponent to make it harder for them to play cards. For example, if they have a 10 and a 9, and you attach a queen to the 9, the only card they can use now is 10.

Jack removes a card from the game, including any kings or queens attached to it. You can use this against your opponent to reduce the value of their stack.
