Because drama.
People have their own viewpoints on what ESO should be; when the devs do something they don't agree with, they post about it.
They've said the horse is a horse; instead of being brown or black or paint/spotted, its white. It isn't faster, it isn't stronger, it is colored white. You might get it sooner, but it isn't anything super special spectacular.
Mara's Rings; I don't think the only way to get those will be in the ce edition. If someone really wants the bragging rights that badly, there will probably be a way to do it.
Will players be able to have romances and marry each other in the game?

The Elder Scrolls Online does have a mechanic to strengthen bonds between adventurers, but this is not necessarily romance or marriage. Two players can perform a ceremony and receive rings from it. If they wear those rings while adventuring together later, they will also gain bonus experience.
Not that it matters to people who know the ce means pay to win, but that was posted before the announcement, and it doesn't say that only people who bought the ce can perform the ceremony and get the rings.
