Ruins: IV or V?

Post » Fri Feb 07, 2014 7:50 pm

There are qualities I enjoy in all:

Ayleid ruins: More suspenseful, better loot, and overall just plain scary (and exciting).

Dwemer: Elaborate technology, stupefying spectacles, and a good challenge.

Nordic: I enjoy the architecture and puzzles.

Your thoughts?

Whipped cream does feel nice. (Your polls have some of the best options)

I prefer anything in skyrim as I couldn't get into oblivion enough.

Since I cannot decide without being bias, I picked whipped cream.

.....

Okay [censored] it, even though I like Nordic ruins more, I still like dwemer ruins more than the one Ayleid ruin I went to.

Wow... I completely forgot Nordic ruins... Looks like I need to make a little edit.

And thank you  I try to make the polls interesting.

I like the aesthetics and design of the Ancient Nordic Ruins. They're my favorite in all of TES.

Much prefer Ayleid ruins, partly because Ayleid lore appeals more to me, although all lore in TES does appeal to me!

Ayleid Ruins are also a lot more scary, whereas Dwemer Ruins are bright and it's just the Automatons, no decomposing zombies or rotting skeletons leaping out at you from the darkness.

My first Ayleid ruin was pretty scary, I remember in one room there were three skeletons and they all swarmed over me.

I ran out, and came back a few levels later and gave them a caning.

Zombies still manage to creep me out to this day, though.

I know, same experience on my first Ayleid dungeon delve. I used to avoid the Ayleid ruins due to suspense, but now I avoid Dwemer due to repetitive play throughs. I still think both are interesting though.

Dwemer ruins are my all-time favorite Elder Scrolls dungeons. My next favorite is Nordic Ruins. My least favorite is Ayleid ruins.
